PocketStore June Update: Google and Facebook Login
Shoppers can sign in with Google or Facebook instead of creating an account, and the app theme now takes your brand colours without a rebuild.
Social login
Account creation is the step most shoppers abandon on a phone. Google and Facebook sign-in are now available on the app’s login screen, wired to the same WooCommerce customer record as an email account, so order history and addresses carry over either way.
Brand colours without a rebuild
Button and accent colours are read from your PocketStore settings at launch. Changing them updates the live app instead of waiting on a new store submission.
Fixes
The app slider now accepts portrait images without cropping the subject, and the account screen keeps its scroll position when returning from an order.
