Tag products in your posts

This page walks you through tagging Shopify products to a post so shoppers can buy from your feed.

Before you start

📝 Note: Product tagging is a Pro feature. To use it, you’ll need a Pro or Plus plan. See Plans and billing.

• You need products in your Shopify catalog to tag.
• You need a feed with synced posts. See Sync and manage your posts.

Open the product picker

In your feed’s Manage posts section, find the post you want to make shoppable.

Click the cart icon on that post. The Select products window opens.

Find and select products

Search by product title, or use the Search by All dropdown and Add filter to narrow by collection or type.

Check the box next to each product you want to tag. You can tag more than one, which is handy for a full outfit in a single photo.

Check the counter at the bottom: it shows how many products you’ve selected. Click Select to confirm.

Read the product-count badge

When a post has products tagged to it, the cart icon shows a number, like a “2” for two tagged products.

A number on the cart icon shows at a glance which posts are already shoppable. Clicking the cart icon opens the product tagging window for that post.

Tip: A number on the cart icon means that the post is shoppable.

Save your feed

After you completed tagging relevant products, it’s time to save the feed. Click Save feed to keep your changes.

Tagging takes about 20 seconds per post once you know your catalog. There are no uploads or spreadsheets: you search your live products and select.

With products tagged, you’re ready to add your feed to your storefront.
